So, this past weekend turned out to be even better than expected. I had a few things going but nothing major. On Saturday, the homie, DJ Twin, Sean Kingston's DJ, hit me to tell me that he made to Biloxi for the show at the Imperial Palace (IP) Casino Resort & Spa so I met up with him at the telly to drop off some new tees.
After choppin' it up for a bit, we met up with Sean's manager, Candice and headed to soundcheck to prep for the show. One slight problem though, the IP staff didn't come through with the Serato for Twin, so the homie was a little heated but it was all good. Twin handled his biz throughout soundcheck without any problems. He's a professional and vet in the game, even at 21, y'all better catch up! After soundcheck I bounced back to the crib for a bite to eat and to relax a little before the concert.
About 20 minutes or so before the show, Twin let me know that my name was on will call and I was good. Now, everyone pretty much knows how big of a star Mr. Kingston is but aftr seeing him perform and from my conversation with Twin, Sean isn't your average celeb, he's an International Star! From performing in front of sellout crowds from Miami to as far as Africa, Mr. Kingston is definitely on another level. I mean, yesterday, he performed at halftime for the Falcons and Vikings football game.
Although the concert was 21 and under, that didn't stop a lot of adults from coming out and enjoying themselves, lol!!! I mean, why not, Sean and Twin put on a GREAT SHOW and Sean has hits for days. He performed everything from Beautiful Girls to Whatcha Say, Eenie Meenie, Take You There and much more. After his final song, Sean signed a bunch of autographs and posed for pictures with fans, I mean this guy is a class act. You can tell that he genuinely loves what he does; he loves his fans and his fans love him even more.
After the show I ended up dropping some tees for Sean to his manager, Candice and gave her some shirts as well. Considering that her high school's arch nemesis name is something similar to 'Dasia' she assurred she wouldn't hold it against me and would rock the tees, lol!
Again, big thanks to the homey, DJ Twin for everything, next time you make it down this way, you know I got you, bro! Same to you, Candice, appreciate the tickets to the show and the rest of the Team Kingston, fam.

I've always been a fan of the Nike Air Max sneakers for a minute. Probably what I love about these is the the simplicity. The Air Max 90 Ripstop is currently available in black, medium grey and obsidian. This Ripstop sneaker is on sale at select Nike Sportswear retailers starting at $146.
