Hard Work Pays Off....Ask Marcus Hunt!
I'm a basketball junkie especially when it comes to high school hoops! From the AAU circuit to Summer Camps at Five-Star I've experienced it to the fullest. It's a new generation and let me tell you, talent pool is ridiculous. Check out video below of Marcus Hunt, a 6-6 do everything All-American Guard from Atlanta, GA. He's fielding offers from just about every major Division 1 program in the Country and eating up the competition this summer.
Trust me, I know Marcus' father so I know the kid puts in work.

L.Dasia Spotlight: ATL Dreams.....
Ever wondered what it's like to work for a platinum selling artist? Deal with movers and shakers of the music industry on the daily? Well, look no further because this is the life of Lavonte Dove aka Taye who makes moves as the Executive Assistant for Hip Hop artist Diamond (formerly of Crime Mob).

Check it out as Taye gives us some insight on the craziness of the industry, obsessed fans that he deals with and much, much more!!!
ldasiaclothing.com: For those who don't know you, introduce yourself - name, where you're from, etc...
Taye: My name is Lavonte but everybody calls me Taye, I'm from N.C. But have been residing in Atlanta for 12 years, and I am the Executive Assistant for Diamond Former member of Crime Mob.
ldasiaclothing.com: How did you become an Executive Assistant for Diamond?
Taye: I started out as the Assistant of a video/movie director here in Atlanta, and I met her because the project we worked on, Diamond was a main character on the production and when it came to her, I displayed myself to be very determined because she was not interested in doing the project, and she seen my drive and my dedication and with that she hired me on the spot at the wrap party.
ldasiaclothing.com: Describe a typical day on the job?
Taye: A typical day on the job is waking up at 5am replying to tons of emails and sending out contracts to different promoters, setting appointments for Diamond and interviews and hosting meetings for promotional ideas for her also and that's just from 5am-noon. I'm very hands on in everything she does because she trust my judgment, and she knows that I will only tell her or steer here in the right direction, being a assistant is a very demanding job, and its a 24/7 cycle.
ldasiaclothing.com: What's the craziest thing that's happened since you've taken the job?
Taye: Well nothing as of yet, besides this one dude that sent diamond a long freaky email and a explicit picture to our business email; so far that's it, I laughed for days (so if you are reading this dude, I GOT YOUR MSG NOT HER,LOL).
ldasiaclothing.com: You have to let the readers know....Any perks associated with the job?
Taye: The perks for the job, honestly for me is really working side by side with her, because before I meet her, I was a big fan, now I'm a bigger fan, its amazing the love I get just from being associated with her. Not only is she my boss but she is my friend, and that means more to me than anything.
ldasiaclothing.com: Keisha Cole or Monica?
Taye: Keyshia Cole All Day!!!
ldasiaclothing.com: Best Soul food spot in the ATL?
Taye: Honestly I have to say Mama Dee kitchen (Lil Scrappy mom) she will feed you until you gain 20pounds in one day.
ldasiaclothing.com: Best thing about being in the music industry?
Taye: Meeting artists that I have listened to for years and just being relevant. When people learn what you do they look up to you and ask you questions and it feels good to actually be able to hold my head up high and answer the question, being in the industry has always been my dream and now I'm living it. God is Good!
ldasiaclothing.com: Worst thing about being in the music industry?
Taye: When people find out who you work for, trying to submit their demos and their beats it’s so annoying.
ldasiaclothing.com: Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
Taye: My goal is to make sure Diamond's label Dime Piece Collection is launched, and to be V.P. I also wanna launch my own label which I have been working on now also called Affiliated Entertainment.
ldasiaclothing.com: Any parting words, shout outs, shameless plugs...now's the time, LOL
Taye: I wanna give a shout out to Diamond and all of Dime piece collection, everybody at G's Up, my artist Lil Gune, God for believing in me and my entire family.
