Wow...I know it's been awhile but I'm baaacckkkk! This year I'm going to do more than just updates on new clothing; I'm going to give my reader's more insight into what's going on in my life & L.Dasia, events, and so on. Check out the event that I attended, New Orleans Hornets Casino Night. Its an event where the players, coaches, and the Hornets staff mingle with season ticket holders and play casino games such as poker, black jack and rouletter.
Well, my friend Will bka Chilly D (who I haven't seen since '94) hit me up on Thursday out of NOWHERE and tells me that he has an extra ticket for the 3rd annual New Orleans Hornets Casino Night at the SuperDome and wants to know if I want to go, EVEN though it's last minute. After I get some things in place I end up letting my boy know that I'm down to attend.
So I head down to the N.O. and end up missing my exit, due to some traffic and that damn Causeway Exit, but still make it to my boy's house with enough time to spare.
So we arrive at the SuperDome and meet up with 3 guys that Chilly D knows (season ticket holders as well). One thing I noticed was that there were definitely some die hard Hornets fans in the building! Dudes wearing matching New Orleans Hornets t-shirts with spandex and capes......LOL! Trust me, I'll support my team but not to that extreme. It was all good, anyone that knows me knows that I'm an L.A. Lakers fan all day baby.....Don't hate.
The event was catered so me, Chilly D and his friends grab something to eat, take advantage of the complimentary drinks and mingle with the crowd a little. Chilly D's boys got some pics with Brittany an In-Arena Host for the Hornets (gets the crowd hyped) and one of the Honey Bees, Lindsey (real down to earth). After the convo we find out that the players and coaches are in the building and the tables are OFFICIALLY open for gambling (with fake money, don't get it twisted).
